Moon Kee Honeymoon Dessert

Whenever I see an outlet of Moon Kee also known as Honeymoon Dessert, full or not (there's ALWAYS some stomach room left for sweets no matter how stuffed you are :P) I will hop in and attack the mango pomelo beancurd with pearl sago! (楊枝甘露豆腐花) Silken smooth beancurd with diced mango and shredded pomelo, how refreshing! No one can resist this heavenly dessert! ^__^

Totally wanna Hiiiiiiiii 5. That's my favorite on the Honeymoon Dessert manu too. Second would be the Mango Pancake. Hehehe. (So bad that not many dessert shops sell that combination.)

If you are a mango fan, the Mango bean curd in Faat Kee 發記 is great too. I guess it serves you half of the mango. Haha.

"Hi 5!!!!!" heheee hey, I heard about Fat Kee but haven't got a chance to try their desserts yet. Fat kee is in cwb right?

Yea. There's Fat Kee in CWB (Opposite to World Trade Center). Fat Kee in Mong Kok Grand Centre (雅蘭中心) is good too. Just don't try the Fat Kee in MegaBox Kowloon Bay. That's like the worst Fat Kee I've ever been to... I mean it's bad taste and bad service. Haha.

Also, there's 1 dessert shop I would recommend. Kam Moon Tong Dessert (金滿堂甜品) in Kowloon City. I've heard they have opened a branch in Ngau Tau Kok near To Tai Plaza, but I haven't try that one yet.

Hi there, Saw you were grew up in Holland, that drew my attention. I stumbled on your blog when I googled Fat Kee as I like their dessert more than Moon Kee, maybe Moon Kee has expanded too much already. I used to live in HK but moved to Switzerland 4 years ago. I married to a dutch : ) How are you enjoying your life in HK?
By the way, Have you tried the black pearls instead of the sago, I like that even more. I wonder if I can buy the black pearls at all anywhere.
