Lunch @ Tai O Fishing Town

It takes about an hour to get to Tai O from Ma On Shan. Tai O is a fishing town located on Lantau Island and known for its salted fish and shrimp paste.

"Pang uks", a kind of stilt house, is a hot scenic spot in Tai O.

While we were shopping around for seafood for lunch, we came across a street vendor and bought some hakka "chicken poops" sweet snack. The poos were very chewy and delicious!

Fresh seafood and fish for lunch!

We went to Lin Heung restaurant where we had our seafood cooked @ HK300 to our liking ^_^

Shrimps

Clams

Deep-fried squid cake

Stir-fry salt and pepper Mantis shrimps also known as "peeing shrimps"

Steamed Green Cod fish

First Starbucks with old Hong Kong style cafe decor @ Central

You must visit Starbucks' brand new branch in Central cos it's the first Starbucks with old Hong Kong style bing sut interior!

Let's go back to the past and take a coffee break à la 50s style for a change...

Entrance @ Duddell Street

Very funny, the sign reads "Take pictures freely" ^_^

Don't forget to try their Coffee Cocktail Bun (Kai mei bau) as well as Butter Pineapple Bun and Coffee Tart (already sold out when we got there) cos these are only available at this branch.

The steamed almond soy milk was very good :)

Lunch @ Coco Espresso, Sheung Wan

Coco Espresso again! I can't help it, their coffee is just too tempting! :p

Tuna cheese toast

Eggs with bacon and toasts

It was love at first sip! No doubt! The caramel CAPPUCCINO is my NO.1! Taste wise same as caramel latte but it is the extremely thick layer of foam that has made me fall in love with this coffee instantly! *^_^* P E R F E C T O !

Coco Espresso, Sheung Wan

Mocha Cheesecake

Cappuccino

Tuna Garden Green Salad

Hazelnut Latte

I was in bad need of REAL & GOOD coffee so invited my cousin for coffee break @ Coco Espresso. Johnson recognized me from my last visit and I guess he remembered my name from the comments I left on his blog ^_^ When he noticed I was taking photos of the coffee and food again, he made a joke about not posting the pics on my blog if they aren't shot nicely.
Funny guy :)

My cousin ordered 2 coffee too, I recommended her to try cappuccino and caramel latte. The latter one has become her favorite!

Before we left, I wrote a note saying "Heerlijke koffie!!! Groetjes van W." and passed it to John for him to stick it onto his colorful message board which was already covered with lots of other people's comments written in Italian, English, Chinese,... and as of today one in Dutch too! ^^
