A friend has brought lots of yummy local snacks and food from Belgium so we decided to throw a Belgian dinner party to enjoy the delicacies ^_^ To start with, some snacks from Belgium and Holland: Combo of salami sausage, Gouda cheese and Emmental cheese served with mustard, paprika flavored coated peanuts and my favorite paprika chips! 
Most of my friends can cook and love cooking, except for me, I enjoy eating and I'd rather do the dishes and clean up the kitchen than cook! :P Gratin dauphinois which is potatoes gratiné was very tasty!

Endives with ham au gratin smothered in a thick layer of cheese!A taste to savor~
Besides endives with ham au gratin and gratin dauphinois, we had mashed potatoes and fresh garden greens seasoned with basil olive oil.
Since 1st March was one of our friend's birthday, we planned to give her a surprise at midnight. When she saw the snow-white Angel Cake, she was so surprised and happy cos she thought we forgot her b-day as we didn't mention a word the entire evening! On purpose of course! :D Mission accomplished! 
Very light and fluffy texture, not too sweet and the cream was fresh and smooth.
