Yan Wo Soy Bean Shop, Mongkok

For a healthy and delicious snack, why not swing by Yan Wo and indulge yourself in a bowl of heavenly tofu pudding that's silken smooth and fresh? Only 10HK$ a bowl!

Yellow sugar

Yan Wo sells all kinds of soy bean products such as plain and hot tofu cheese (preserved tofu). When my mum cooks congee I either flavor it with olive cabbage or tofu cheese and since we have never tried their preserved tofu we bought a jar before we left :)

Sun Shing Kee, Mongkok

Quick lunch with mum & dad at Sun Sing Kee in Mongkok which is a noodle eatery that serves a variety of Chinese noodles (flat/thick rice noodle, rice vermicelli, udon, fish noodle,...).

I like their fish noodle which is made of fish, it's chewy and very tasty ^^

Fish noodle with "Ngau Chap" , mixed beef (beef brisket, beef tendon and beef tripe) in beef broth

Fish noodle with cuttlefish balls in beef broth

Yummy crunchy tasty deep-fried fish skin!! Ho mei! :]

Fish noodle with meat balls in clear broth

3 bowls of fish noodle plus some kai-lan, fish skin and fresh soya milk made our lunch complete!

Bright and squeaky-clean noodle shop

Oliver's Super Sandwiches, Festival Walk

Light and healthy lunch with a friend @ Oliver's Super Sandwiches where we had tuna sandwich and mozzarella cheese sandwich. Thanks for the great pictures, Will! ^.^

Advanced coffee course

I've enrolled myself in the advanced coffee course in July :) Besides coffee tasting analysis and a more in-depth understanding of the characteristics of the various coffee beans, coffee sir will teach us how to create latte art in espresso drinks! This is actually the real reason why I take the advanced course ^o^ So excited! Can't wait for the classes to start!

For those who don't know what coffee art/latte art is, click on below video clip!

Coffee break @ Segafredo Zanetti Espresso Bar, Central

Since I haven't had my daily caffeine fix yet and none of us could resist a slice of delicious cake, we headed for Segafredo in Central after our heavy lunch at Kaya.

Personally I like their Apple Walnut Tart the most because of the nice apple flavor and crunchy base.

The Apple Coffee Round Cake was fluffy in texture and luscious in taste.

Go for the Blueberry Cheesecake if you love the strong cheese flavor, the cheesiest cake I've ever had! ^^

My life saver of the day: Espresso Macchiato!

Another coffeeholic. See how coffee can make people smile? :D
