Korean BBQ @ Kaya Korean Restaurant, Causeway Bay

Bek Se Ju (literally "100 years wine") is a traditional Korean rice wine, mixed with 12 oriental herbs and using ginseng as the major ingredient.

Beef "hoe" is a raw beef dish served with wasabi and red pepper paste and wrapped in shredded radish, cucumber, carrot and Korean perilla leaves.

Galbi (marinated beef short ribs) and other meat dishes, accompanied with various banchan (small side dishes)

Bulgogi (marinated barbecued beef) is my favorite! Tasty and juicy~

Yukhoe is raw grounded beef topped with raw egg.

Grilled eel

Spicy stir-fried octopus, too spicy for my taste!

Korean pancake dish "Bindaetteok" is made of ground mung beans with seafood, green onions, peppers cooked in a frying pan.

Beef noodle was cooked in front of us.

Sansachun rice wine is made from corn starch and hawthorn.

Pokka Cafe, Mongkok

Iced Cafe Tiramisu

Shinjuku Cafe Caramel

California Pizza Kitchen, Kowloon Bay

After the movies we went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. (by the way, I strongly recommend the Thai horror movie "Coming Soon" 陰容院在, being a horror/slasher movie fan myself, I really enjoyed watching it! Scary and thrilling from the beginning till the end, there were quite a few jump out of your seats moments and most importantly the story is well developed and believable with a twisted ending!)
Now back to food...

I tried the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Tortilla chips for the very first time and it was absolutely delicious! The dip is served hot and the combination of spinach, artichoke and melted cheese tastes incredibly good! I could have finished the entire bowl by myself :P

Classic Caesar salad - Dan Ryan's is still the best~

Refreshing "Cold Mountain" mocktail

Yummy Spaghetti Carbonara

Milan Pizza

Food Village, Ma On Shan

My favorite cha chaan teng in Ma On Shan is Food Village, their Hong Kong style milk tea is the best!

I always order milk tea with extra milk which makes it smoother and creamier~~

Omelette stuffed with minced ham and served with buttered toast

Macaroni in broth with snow cabbage

Spaghetti in broth topped with snow cabbage

Rice noodle soup with shui gao dumplings (filled with minced pork and shrimp)

Vero Chocolate, Wanchai

It took us a while finding Vero which is quite isolated from the city center and well-hidden in Fenwick Pier Mall. After tasting their signature hot cocoa, we can only say that it was absolutely worth visiting! The Chocolate Heaven for chocoholics and sweet tooths! ^_^

Terra Cotta Warrior made of chocolate!

Xocolatl (Vero's 70% dark chocolate)

Bright and spacious chocolate lounge

Open kitchen where you can see chefs making chocolates and pastries.

Vero signature hot chocolate "Xocolatl" (70% dark choc) is scrumptious! Rich and smooth texture and taste wise strong and intense dark chocolate flavor,
a true taste to savor~

A piece of dark chocolate is placed on top of the hot chocolate resulting in the quick melting of the chocolate top in seconds! It was funny to see the rapid choc melting process :)

Cafe Mocha filled with lots of dark chocolate

We'll come back for more!
